Once Upon a Run

I kind of feel like this is another big news post. 'Kom op tegen Kanker' is a Belgian organization that raises money for cancer research. They organize a lot of different fundraising events throughout the year. One of the most famous ones is the 1000km bike ride. Teams (or in some cases individuals) cycle 1000km... Continue Reading →

This past weekend they organized the 'Race for the cure' in Brussels, Antwerp and Namur. A couple years ago my own grand mother got diagnosed with breast cancer and I have a couple very... My May running plans

So as you probably know, I have not been running much... But I think my injury is almost 'beat'. This past weekend I was in Copenhagen where I walked 30 000 steps per day. And... pain-free! Tuesday I did an easy 25 minute run and today a slow 40 minute run with my mom, both... Continue Reading →

What I ate this week

So what does an injured runner do instead of running? Yes, eating! I love cooking, but I also love going out for a bite to eat. This week was a good mix between eating out and dining in!
